Someone asked me the other day when I die what do I want to be remembered for? I would want them to say “She Served God and Saved Dogs!”
I have been amazingly blessed even though this is not where I thought I would be when I got “grown up”. It’s better. Through surviving a career change, moving from the Midwest to California and breast cancer, I learned that our plans are not our own. But when you embrace them, you realize, you are better for them.
I love working in marketing and advertising. When you are able to see the fruits of your labor come to fruition, a campaign bringing in positive ROI for the client and how a team came together to make that happen, it brings an unprecedented joy. I love what I do and do what I love.
I believe in rolling up my sleeves and delving into a job. There is no task that I am not willing to do. Nothing is beneath me, and while some may be above me, I don’t mind taking on the challenge. If you would ask co-workers what I bring to the table, it would be an extremely positive attitude and incredible work ethic. As you may notice, there is not a lot of activity on some of my social media accounts. I have become very cautious after falling victim to a scam that gained information on me through these accounts. That doesn’t mean I’m ignorant to their importance or how they used in marketing and brand awareness.
I spend my free time doing fundraisers for shelters, fostering, bringing awareness to adopt don’t shop, and connecting with homeless pet owners to get them into drug rehab or out of their situation. For my relaxing time, I love helping others, golfing, fishing (catch and release, of course) and cheering on my favorite sports teams and players.
I hope you will take a look at my resume and portfolio that contains some of my case studies. I have managed the accounts for some really big names in consumer goods, and small ones that you may have never heard of. But I have pretty much done it all.
Thanks for stopping by my site and I hope we can connect.
